Bangkok Haul: Drugstore Makeup

Hey guys!

First of all I'd like to apologize for being MIA so frequently these few months. A lot has been happening for my family. But I felt like I couldn't completely abandon my blog so I'm here with a new part of my Bangkok haul :D

I love shopping in drugstores at Bangkok because they've always got cheap offers and good quality items. All my drugstore purchases this time are all from Boots, my family and I love shopping in Boots.

The first thing I got was...
Maybelline's Falsies Mascara!!
I've heard alot of good reviews about this mascara before and one of my girlfriends told me to give it a go (she also mentioned the Maybelline has the best mascaras). I've never tried Maybelline's mascaras, so this would be my very first. I've already started using it, and I LOVE it! I find that there's no need to apply false lashes anymore with this Falsies mascara :P
Have you guys tried any Maybelline Mascaras before? Which one and how do you like it? I'm thinking of purchasing another Maybelline mascara because this one really impressed me, which one should I try next?...hmmm...
The curved brush is coooool :P

Next item I purchased was...
17 Liquid Liner in Golden Brown
Last year I was crazy over Silver and Golden eye-liner (still am actually :P) so I went on a hunt for a good one to purchase. I was so excited when I found different colored liquid eyeliners at Boots! I was torn between the Silver and the Gold colored one but in the end I went for GOLD :)

It's actually darker than my swatch over here (I'm not very good at swatches as you can see :p) but overall I'm quite happy with it. It would be perfect if it was a little bit lighter.
Last item...
Maybelline's Impact Express Smooth Felt Liner

I needed a new felt liner as my 17 eye's one dried out in such a quick time! (The 17 felt tip eye liner was such a waste of money, regretted buying it :/) I've used this a couple of times and overall, this is pretty average. I like how it's very black and slides on well but I've got a problem opening the cap, it's so DARN HARD TO OPEN it!! Smears pretty easily too :/ But it's definitely better than the 17 eyes one :)

SWATCH

That's all I have for today's BANGKOK HAUL section :P
Hope you enjoyed it!

Before I sign off, just wanted to wish everyone an early HAPPY EASTER :)
This morning, Mom, my older sister and I painted egg shells (we've been consuming a lot of eggs over the last few weeks! Mom's concerned and surprised about the number of eggs we gobble down :P) There's a little surprise in each egg, let you know what's in them in the next post :) Hmm, maybe I should do an Easter Day post? :)

Until then, have a wonderful week!!

Bangkok Haul: Etude House

Hiya readers! :)
I'm back with a new part of my Bangkok Haul, I'm going to show you the items I purchased from Etude House. I'm a very very very HUGE fan of Etude House, I've been spending alot on Etude House items this year, it's high time for me to stop shopping there :P But every time I spot that super adorable, full-of-pink Etude House store, I just can't resist the cuteness, I end up returning home with a pink plastic bag full of Etude House products :P

I bought two of their Touch Touch Shadow Liners, a Model Face Color (blush/highlighter) and a couple of masks for 120 baht each, it was a total fail for the masks because I found that I could buy 10 masks here in my country for the price I bought for 2 =="
These cute Touch Touch Shadow Liners were on sale, so I took the opportunity to try them out. You can use them as cream eye shadows or as gel liner. I use the brown one (on the left) which is called Mocha Touch as a gel liner and for the creamy color (on the right) called Vanilla Touch, I use as a cream eye shadow. I'm pretty happy with the quality and the color :)

The second item I got was a Model Face Color which can be used as a highlighter or blush, this was on sale too. It's actually lavender but looking at it, it looks more toward the light pink tones. I have yet to try this out.
A swatch of the Model Face Color, its pretty bright and it looks matte. It doesn't have any hint of shimmer or anything.
~
I was actually surprised with myself that I didn't get as much products than I usually do but I think the reason is because there weren't much items on sale than in my country. I was being adventurous, hoping to try out some of the products I've never tried before but most of the products were pretty pricey for me to try out.

Let me know if you've tried out any Etude House products and if you have, which is your favorite and which product would you highly recommend? :)

The Loft Haul

Hey guys!
I'm back with another part of my Bangkok Haul (which I started earlier this year). For those of you who are wondering, I put my blog challenge on hold for awhile (don't worry, I shall resume soon).
Today I'll be showing you the items I purchased from the Loft at Bangkok. This was my first time visiting the Loft which is located at Siam Discovery, the Loft sells all kinds of things! You're bound to find many cute items (not too expensive items) at the Loft, I recommend visiting the Loft if you plan to visit Bangkok.

My mom found these adorable earrings at the accessories column, it's hard to come by such adorable earrings like these anywhere in my country so we immediately grabbed them.

Mom said this Ribbon and Pearl dangling earrings would suit me, aren't they pretty? I shall wear them, take a picture, and post it on my blog in the near future ;)

The other pair of earrings I purchased were this awesome Coke earrings! What a great idea to make Coke earrings :P I think it's colorful and vintage, can't wait to put them on when I go out.
~
There were so many earrings but these 2 caught my eye the most! If you like them, be sure to keep an out for them when you're at the Loft ;D
~
That's all for my the Loft haul post! I shall post my next blog challenge and the other part of the Bangkok haul soon :D
Have a wonderful week!
Ciao!

Cuts From the Wishlist

Hey ladies! :)

So I guess you can say, this is sort of a haul post, it's part of the haul anyway :P But I just wanna share the items that I bought that are in my wishlist for April-August :P

Number 1:
Nerdy glasses. I wanted a pair but in the end I got 2 pairs :D A white one and a black one.
My mom bought me a red pair but I thought that it didn't suit me, it looked so much better on my elder sister so it is her's now :)
Gawsh, I look so dorky :P
The white pair, the frame is huge! Got this one from KL, Midvalley Megamall.
Got this one from Bangkok. Sala Daeng, Central, Daiso. 60 Baht! :)

Number 2:
Superman or Elmo t-shirt!
I wanted a t-shirt with Sesame Street's Elmo's face on it but I couldn't find one :(
So the second option was to get a Superman t-shirt. A blue one with Superman's famous logo, and I got it! :)

I ain't gonna show it today, I'll show it along with my clothes haul. This is the EPIC paper bag :) My mom says it's scary, especially how Wonder Woman is so bulky here :P I was smiling from ear to ear after my Dad paid for it :) Thanks Daddy :)
Ohyeahhh, Superman and Batman!
Number 3:
A pair of new pumps! This is from Rock Port. I'm a pump fan! :D I love the color, I actually wanted a different pair with a different color, sort of a tea color? But there wasn't the right size :/ So I got this one, equally lovely. I like it's classic and simple design, love the bow!!

Ahh, bruised feet! ><
Number 4:
A new iTouch 4th Generation cover. It's kinda difficult to get an iTouch 4th Generation cover, there aren't much designs compared to the iPhones. I really wanted a Hello Kitty cover but that's okay :) I like my new one now, it's checkered and it's sort of red with a little bit pinkish? I LOVE the color, it's really sweet and I decided to settle with this!

P.S, That's my holiday nails! :) I'm thinking of doing a tutorial post on how to do this for those who doesn't know how to :/ but I'll see if I have the time :)
END of wishlist :)
I actually went to Bangkok hunting for a hat. There were many but most of them looked really old and grey and the colors were fading so I decided to search for more in KL :)

have a great Sunday bloggas :)
xoxo

Looking Through The Lenses of the Camera: Part 2!

Part 2 of my camera journal! :) so yes, this is going to be a picture spam post :)

I call this CHRISTMAS :)

Picture 1: I love this view! No it's not exactly breathtaking, but it's the night view of Bangkok City from my hotel. This was during Christmas, back in 2009. I love going to Bangkok, it's like my second home. What do I do there? Shopping! I recommend Bangkok as a awesome shopping destination!

Picture 2: Part two of the night view. Some of the buildings put up special lights at night that looks very nice. There was even a building (not in the picture) that had a electric light banner thingy that wished everyone in the city "Merry Christmas", I loved that!

Picture 3: Central World Plaza! See the TALL Christmas tree there? The plaza always put up Christmas trees everywhere every Christmas. This was the tallest. My dad took this picture from the Skywalk Bridge that links the shopping mall to the train station, very convenient!

Picture 4: This was taken inside the mall, I love the huge soldier :D At night there was a band dressed up as soldiers marching by playing Christmas carols with huge trumpets and drums
making the shoppers smile.
