Day 7: Your Dream Wedding

Hello! :)

I'm back! I know I've been MIA for awhile but I'm back to resume my blog challenge. I came back from my Bangkok vacation about a couple of weeks ago (I will do a separate post about my trip or maybe a Bangkok haul post later). I meant to write this post and catch up with my followers earlier but on Tuesday which was 4 days ago I had a pain attack at my Pancreas area. For those readers who are new to my blog, I've had pancreatitis since the age of 7...I wrote a little about my history of pancreatitis in a post (quite a long time ago), click 'post' if you wanna read it.

Anyways, I recovered very fast, the pain lasted only around a whole day. I discharged yesterday and I was thinking to myself "Okay, it's time I wrote again on my blog." :p I feel like I haven't wrote in AGES!

~

I'll be resuming my Blog Challenge. Today's (Day 7 of my blog challenge) topic is:
Your Dream Wedding

Whenever the word 'wedding' appears in my mind, the next word I think of is 'simple'. I've seen several movies where brides go crazy trying to make their wedding 'grand' and 'perfect'. But to me, I want my wedding that will be memorable, simple and sweet. Nothing to fancy or grand.

I'd like the wedding to be held somewhere outdoor, somewhere with a breathtaking view, somewhere with lots of trees :D (I love trees) Definitely somewhere sunny yet shady because I am one who hates sweating and getting under the sun :P

I read at a website that the largest wedding attendance was a Jewish wedding in Jerusalem where 30,000 people attended. In my wedding, I'd like a small attendance where just our closest families and friends would come. A small happy gathering.

The wedding dress, I always felt that the wedding dress is the most important thing that a bride needs to think about (and I'm sure it's true). For me, following the theme 'simple', I would love to wear a simple yet sweet gown. I've noticed that nowadays brides are wearing mini wedding dresses which I'm not a fan of. I'd like to follow the tradition of wearing a long wedding dress, but minus the train because I feel like it's sort of a nuisance :P
My mother in her wedding dress <33

Basically, I'd like my wedding to be a memorable day where I'd look back and smile. I hope I was able to interpret my wedding ideas well. Hopefully, you can get a little idea of what I'd like :) And I really hope that in the future God blesses me with a special someone and I hope to have the perfect 'simple' wedding in the future <333

Tune back in tomorrow to see the next challenge! :) Comment! :)
Love,
Lizzy

Back With Kpop

Hey girls.

I've been on a short MIA, if that ever makes sense :P

I'm back with a mini post, updates on the K-Pop World. Nothing spectacular or special happening in my life so far. It's been boring boring study days lately.

Tomorrow, I'll be going to the National Home School Talentime. It's sort of a concert where all the homeschooled students gather to show their talents. I'm not participating but my fellow schoolmates are, so I'll be going along with my school to cheer them on :) So there'll be something to post tomorrow! I'll try to take some pics. I did my nails today, but the photos are in another camera, so I can only store all the pictures tomorrow.

Right, to the K-Pop Update!

Apple girl, Kim Yeo Hee is back! Anticipating her new single "Half". These are her comeback concept photos. According to allkpop.com, Kim Yeohee personally picked out pastel tone outfits and accessories for her photoshoot and MV. She has such a sweet voice, can't wait for her comeback.

Secondly, bad news. KBS has announced that 1 Days 2 Nights (a very famous variety show) will be ending in 6 months. It's sad news for me because I am a HUGE fan of the show. It's hilarious and never fails to give smiles and laughter. If you've never seen this variety show, you should. It shows a lot of the beautiful places you can visit if you travel to Korea :)

Gotta say goodbye, yes, so soon :(
Gotta hit the hay early!

One last little quote for you guys

Friday Entry and What's in the Box?

Waddup people!

SO how was your day?
This is what I did:
Nothing.

I meant that seriously but nothing meant lying around and fiddling with my hair. Plus watching a bunch of videos on YouTube and snapping some pictures.

SINCE I was so bored, I decided to do an entry on what's in my jewelry box!

I got frustrated when I turned on my laptop. Had to wait for 15-25 minutes for the laptop to do some system check or something. Eek ><

Okay! Back to the Jewelry Section!
This box was my Mother's. It's pretty old. She had this when she was a teenager. But I love it! I think it's rustic and cute :)
Today, I'm just gonna show you the FIRST level :)
I wore this earring today :) It was a gift from a very dear aunt of mine. It was meant for my mom but she doesn't have pierced ears so... I guess it's mine now :p It's very pretty!
Closeup :)Emptied out the box and arranged them neatly! :)

I love this pair! This is actually the first pair of dangling earrings I got. I thought it was super cute 'cos I am a big fan of Piglet :)
This is actually my older sister's. A gift from our favorite Uncle, he got it from the gospel bookshop, yes they sell earrings too! :)
This is mine :) I treasure this a lot 'cos this is a birthday gift I got last year from my BFF, Abby :)
This is my sister's, it was her first pair of dangling earring. It was a birthday present from our Aunt Sonia :) From Denni, as you can see :D
This is my mother's, it's very elegant. I love pearls!
The final set of accessories! The little souveniers I got from HK Disneyland! I will include them win my HK Disneyland post too :)

I got this brooch or is it badge? I'll just call it a brooch. I got this on my first trip to HK Disneyland (I went 2 times, coolios :D) There were so many choices of brooches to pick from but I went with Slinky the Dog from Toy Story because it has a little spring which I thought was the most unique among the rest. But no, I'm not a big fan of Slinky, I actually prefer Ham, the pig :P

My sister's. They're lovely but a little heavy :P

The first pair of earrings we (both my sister and I, we share) got. These are super adorable! My mom found this in one of the many gifts shop in Main Street USA. We love Chip and Dale so we just had to have it. It comes with an additional pair of earring, the orange diamond thingy :P

So that concludes the tour of the What's In The Box, Level 1. Will post a new post for Level 2 soon :)

But wait! Don't leave! Before I say Ta-ta, I just wanna show you what my Mom bought today.
Chibi Maruko Bags!
Chibi Maruko is a famous Japanese cartoon. I LOVE her! My sister and I have been big fans of her since I was 6 or 7? And my sister, since she was 8 or 9 :p
Anyways we LOVVEEEEE her!
So my mother spotted this red authentic bag in the flea market and she bought it! Yippeee! I love the color, it's very authentic and the main color of Chibi Maruko, so great buy great buy!

This one is the mini bag specially for water bottles or flasks. It doesn't come with the other bag though, my mom had to buy it separately. It ain't a combo set or something :P
Love them!
So cute! I bring food from home for recess at school. So I could use this as a snack bag or something.

Have you heard of Chibi Maruko Chan? :)

Time to say goodbye now :)
xoxo

have a great weekend!! (I updated my sidebar with new giveaways, check it out :))

Thursday Update

Oh it's such a gloomy day today :(

Well, this is such a FAIL pic, it doesn't look gloomy here :P But the sky has been pouring since morning.
Went to school and to my horror found out I failed two tests! Uggh, it's back to the drawing board again, I'll have to revise more now :P
It was a very sleepy day at school, everyone was sleeping in their desks!! I was so shocked!
Nothing's ever happened like that at school :P So it was a slumber party at school today ;D

Some kids were sick due to eating too much durian. For some of you who doesn't know what durian is, here's a pic! (Although I doubt anyone won't know what it is. It's famous for being the stinkiest fruit on Earth xD)
I know a lot of people who just HATES durian. Some people puke when they take a whiff of the aroma of the Durian (King of Fruits in Malaysia) but most people in Malaysia and probably some other countries in Asia, loves Durian! Like me! Yes, I am a fan of Durian. But it's full of fat so I don't eat much often. Some people think it's just plan disgusting, but I think not! Do you like Durian? If you ever tasted Durian, tell me your thoughts ;D

I was on Tumblr just a few seconds ago and look what I found! :)
That's the ADORABLE girl in Despicable Me! What's her name again? Was it Margaret or something? Oh wells, totally forgotten :/ That's a real girl in the above pic by the way, doesn't she look exactly like the cartoon? Haha, so uber cute :DD

Gonna soon update more in a few minutes :)
How was your day peeps :)

Family Fun

I've got bloglovin now! :) -->> click! Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hey guys!

Whoo! I'm super tired ;D My cousins from Singapore just came down to Malaysia to visit, they just left a couple of hours ago. Grace and Sam were tons of fun! Grace, the genius in beauty and hair, did our make-up for both me and my sister (we suck when it comes to makeup :P) and curled our hair for an entry for a giveaway we joined on YouTube.

IT WAS FUN :)

I'm too embarrased to post our pics here so I hope you don't mind :P

Sam on the other hand, didn't go near to the make-up as he was a boy, so we turned on a coupe of DVDs to keep him busy, he's 10 by the way and very very hyper that's probably the reason why I'm so worned out! :)

Pic Time!

Here's just a random pic of my collection of Facial Blotters! There's only two so it ain't a proper 'collection' :P

The one on the left (the white one) is from Pan Mate, my mom bought it for me at the pharmacy. It doesn't actually works and you can hardly see the oil stain so I don't recommend it.

I love the Hello Kitty one mainy because of it's packaging (I have an addiction to packaging, if it's cute, I simpy grab it without considering if it's usable. It's seriously a bad habit) but it doesn't exactly work either athough you can see the oil stain much clearer than the Pan Mate one. I bought it in a really nice Japanese store at Phrom Phong, Bangkok.

(Bottom) That's my hand by the way :P I don't like how my skin tone is dark, I always envy those with really white skin, I call it Tofu Complexion :P

Credits to Grace, my makeup genius cousin who did my nails. We experimented a little nail art for the first time. I was quite happy with it because I do such a bad job on my nails and she does it more professionally than me. We were just fooling around with the polishes but it turned out quite cute.

The bracelet was a gift from both Grace and Sam who just came back from their vacation to Bali. I like it, so cute. The little seashells add a pretty touch to the it.

A close-up on my nails. You can't really see it in this picture, but Grace painted a flower on my thumb, it was a success but I think she could do better with much more practice. I like the second finger best, the one with red polka dots on.

Last but not least a mini picture collage of Grace, Rachel (my older sister) and Sam. I call it, All at Work. This was taken in my bedroom. Grace is the one with the straightening iron and the cool braided hair, we kept teasing her on how she looks just like Jaden Smith :P Sam is the one blocking Rachel, they were both playing Tap Tap Revenge. You can't really see Rachel clearer here which is what she would've wanted, she'd kill me if I posted a fat picture of her :P
Well that's basically the end of my weekend!
How was yours? Leave a comment and follow me on Bloglovin!

Crackers, Toast, and Jam

Hello!

Blogpost number 2 this week, or is it the first? Oh I don't keep track of these sorta things! (heehee) Spending my time at home recovering, it get's really boring. I read books, take pictures, declare the Word of God, and read through blogs. I also doodle nowadays, which is alot of fun! I draw shoes, shown above, I call it the Shoe Collection. I copied the designs from a very cute Japanese book that teaches you how to draw or doodle adorable stuff! And I got addicted :P

Because of my health condtition, I haven't been eating any delicious food. As in pizza, pasta, fried rice, or other yummy food that I fancy :P My mom strictly keeps me on what I call the sludge, crack, and toast diet

What is the SLUDGE CRACK AND TOAST a.k.a SCT diet?

It consists of crackers or toast with jam for breakfast and snacks. NO RICE, or NOODLES. Just porridge (that's the sludge in the SCT :p) STRICTLY NO DAIRY. That means no milk in my Milo or Coffee or Cereal. STRICTLY NO CANDY. That means no lollipops for a lollipop-lover like me :(

Hope to eat all my favorite foods soon! :) For others who can eat whatever they like, be thankful! Don't waste :)

Song of the Day
And for the Song of the Day, I chose Taylor Swift's Speak Now!

A little summary of Speak Now! Haha, too lazy, copied from Wikipedia! :P

Speak Now is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It was released on October 25, 2010 by Big Machine Records. Production for the album took place during 2008 to 2010 at several recording studios, and was handled by Swift and country music producer Nathan Chapman. Written entirely by Swift, Speak Now expands on the country pop style of her previous work, and features lyrical themes concerning love, romance and heartbreak.

Book of the Week

My pick for da BOOK of da WEEK is....Frank Cottrell Boyce's COSMIC. My opinion: I think it is no doubt, BRILLIANT+COSMIC. Very cute. My mom picked up this book at the book fair, the cover is super cosmic, super cool and super cute. See? Haha, look down.

Again, I didn't write this brief summary. But I wanted to post it here, so you can find out about it a little and maybe be interested and get the book :)

Liam is unusually tall for a 12-year-old, and he has also developed a bit of a beard, so he gets mistaken for a grown-up. This offers unexpected opportunities in a Porsche showroom as well as on his first day at secondary school, when he is assumed to be the new member of staff. And it leads to a strange opportunity in a Chinese desert, where, as a winner of a telephone competition, he becomes the guest of a shady corporation that is planning to make money from commercial space travel. While his parents believe he is on a school trip to the Lake District, Liam is posing as a father, accompanied by a celebrity-obsessed “daughter” who is one of his classmates, and undergoing astronaut training for a rocket trip to the moon. As Liam finds himself in a “Best Dad” contest, voted for by four other children, he copes better with responsibility than the other adults, and all five youngsters learn about what good fatherhood might be. (The author has the benefit of experience of his own seven children.) A crisis in space reveals that computer games may have a use after all, as training for operating a spacecraft.

The book is full of adventure and FUN FUN FUN. The dialogue between the characters can be very hilarious and cute too. I love Liam, the main character in the book, he's very smart considering he's in the Gifted and Talented section in his school. And not forgetting his companion , Florida, who accompanies him on their rocket trip as his 'daughter'. Frank (the author) is truly a genius to come up with this fantastic idea! :) This paragraph is written by me by the way, not copied :P

Before signing off, I'd like my readers or anyone who stumbles upon this blog, to challenge me to do something fun! A survey or whatever! A blog challenge, a photo challenge, just anything! I'll do my best to fulfill it. It's been so boring, and I've been watching people do fun challenges, I'd like to give it a go. So suggest anything below in the comment space or email to: liz.tan75@gmail.com

Thank you for reading!

Hey peeps!

I know it's been AGES since I blogged. There is seriously something wrong with Blogger (on my computer that is). It's been driving me crazy, and the frustrating thing is that I've been dying to post comments on my fellow bloggers' posts but my stupid laptop is keeping me from doing that.

But I don't care, I can't go on not blogging. So here's an update post. I've been Tumblring+Instagramming for days just to keep me busy 'cos I can't blog.

P.S If you instagram too, follow me!

Back To Penang Island Again!

Hiya peeps!:)

Here's an update I meant to do days ago but sadly I wasn't feeling well. I had a slight discomfort in my stomach that came and go , almost admitted to the hospital but thankfully my awesome doctor said I could rest at home :)

It was tiring last weekend! Went to my school's Sports Day and got involved with helping out with the food carnival. I was in charge of selling corns :P Well, it was a good thing everybody somehow craved for corns, I sold out everything in a few hours! Which was really great. The next day, my family and I boarded a plane to, once again, Penang!

For lunch we went back to Hisago and Straits Quay, it's the japanese restaurant I mentioned in my last post! There was a Peanuts Cafe that I was dying to check out the last time but couldn't.

This time, I did! The cafe was awesome, there were Snoopy characters everywhere. Couldn't get a good shot as I forgot to bring my camera. So I used my iTouch's camera. Here's a few shots, I really really need to improve with my photography skills :P

I ordered Green Apple Mint Fizz which sorta tasted odd 'cos the mint overpowered the Apple taste a little too much. The mint was really strong and sweet. Not much fizz too, I was kinda dissapointed with the drinks. But presentation sense, it looked cool, the color was superb :) My dad ordered Dragonfruit juice, he was going on and on about how it's healthier than my drink (of course :P) I loved the color but didn't taste it :P

Chillin' out with Lucy and Linus :P That's my sister's back covering the other characters :P

One thing that I loved about the cafe was that they had pictures of Snoopy and the other Peanut Characters all lined up on the ceiling, it was nice to look up and see all of the art. Fancy, i like it :)

BELOW: My really bad snapshots of the cafe. Eeeks! Forgive me, I'll do better next time :P

Now, for my ETUDE HOUSE HAUL

This trip was sorta boring at first but it got more exciting when ETUDE HOUSE popped out. I really wished I could buy the whole store but, ka-ching ka-ching is always a problem. They were all on sale so HOORAY for me ;) Here's what I bought:

There were a good variety of nail-polishes but I wanted to try something different this time, so I went with this color, sorta like a seafoam green? :P pretty blurr today.

Next, I bought... Follow Me TINT SPF13 Vary Pink, the 2NE1 Edition :) it's awesome. This cool, mint glossy tint stick goes on clear but changes from pale pink to intense fuschia and every shade in between, according to your passion. Sounds cool? It is cool :) I love it!

Peach Beam Blusher! It's an oven baked blusher that creates porcelain clear complexion with crystal pearl shine. It has a little glittery shade which I love :)

Lastly, my brand new Miss Tangerine Follow Me Tint! I like the orange shade that it gives, so I definitely had to have it. I was thinking of going with just one (the 2NE1 edition) but the Miss Tangerine one was calling out to me :P I was so tempted and I love the color, so oh wells, sold! This cool, glossy stick goes on clear but changes shades according to your passion!

That's pretty much what really happened this week! I'm so satisfied with my Etude house products, I just want more! I'll be back with more hauls, (I dearly hope so) Gonna go join more giveaways now! WEEEEEE :)

Countdown to my B'day:

6 more days... to 27th May!

Ciao!~
