Hey peeps!

It's been AGES since I updated my blog, no more excuses, it's time for an update! Quite dissapointed, didn't win anything (giveaways) last April but hopefully my favorite month, May will be the time when I get something! :D I'm absolutely excited! My BFF is back from a 5-month stay at America! My Texas galfriend has returned to me ;) LOL.

I'm waiting for her to call but I think I better let her rest, jet lag :/

Now, what happened in April? I last blogged on April 15, the day of my sister's b'day...so it's been a month since I blogged? Approximately...

I've been real busy and I stopped going online on my lappie for a long time. Spent my past few weeks lying in bed, caught the flu bug but I'm so glad I'm healed and recovered :D Then Easter, I was suppose to do a blogpost on that day but I flew to Penang with my family so again I couldn't update. Easter was amazing! Thank you Jesus for the cross and for Your blood that has set me free forever! :D

Here's a small review of a fancy and chic japanese restaurant that I visited in Penang (Straits Quay)

What I loved most about the restaurant is the view! :) I could see the dock and the luxurious yachts but you can't really see it in this picture. Forgive me, my photography skills are no where near perfect, I'm only used to taking self pictures :P

I ordered a set which the manager recommended, Saba Shioyaki Set, it isn't the exact name, now all that's left in my head is Blah Blah Blah. Saba Shioyaki is all I can remember ;D A little woozy today. The presentation was good I guess. The smoked duck slices were divine! They were so juicy, tender, suculent and absolutely yummy! I only had 2 pieces :( But if you were to visit Hisago, order the duck slices! It actually comes with a set but I think you can ask for Ala Carte.




And for dessert! Macha Ice Cream :D Another reason why I ordered this set was because the dessert section (comes with the whole set) caught my eye and immediately like a 5 year old I said ""Yes, Mommy, I want this one! This one!" :D It was tasty and refreshing, they sprinkled it with a little crumbled corn flakes which I thought was lovely :)
