High Bun 101

Waddup gals,

Lately, I have been using my dad's iPad to download tutorials on YouTube on how to make the Korean high bun. I am a very koreanized gal and I visit the Korean town in Ampang almost all the time, and there are always many pretty korean gals walking around with their hair tied up high into a bun. Almost every korean singer (female ofcourse) has their hair tied up into a bun too! So I tried tying one myself. But FAIL. I mean, it actually works but I just can't seem to make it appear HIGH like all those korean gals. I have very very thick hair and I'm not sure if thats the problem.

Many gals in their tutorials has mentioned teasing the hair in order to make it higher, but if you've got other suggestions, do feel free to comment ^^

Now that's an extremely HIGH bun :)

This is the Japanese version, it looks so neat and I think it requires lotsa hairspray and for a teen like me who doesn't normally use hairspray, this is impossible :P

The Pink and White Bookworm

Heya everybody!

It's super Sunday, and for me it's quite a lazy one today. I have been kept indoors for the WHOLE week due to IBS. It's been rough for a wee teenager like me, I went through heartburns, backaches, stomach-aches, diarrhea, vomiting and a little depression. IBS stands for Irritable Bowel Syndrome and it definitely is no doubt, irritating. But I don't want to go into that 'cos it ain't what I'm here to say :P

While resting, I became a bookworm and now I am addicted to the S.A.S.S series. If you haven't heard of it, you should go check it out. In every book, the story of one gal's life and journey to a foreign country is told. And for those who loves a little romance, you should read these books 'cos there's always romance in every one of 'em. *giggles*

Right now, I'm reading "When Irish Guys are Smiling", basically Delk (the main character in this series) goes to study in Ireland, leaving her 52-year-old father and his annoying, new, young pregnant wife (her dad remarried, her birth-mother died). She meets new friends and a super cute Irish boy named Pather (Sounds like panther:P), that's where the romance bit comes in. P.S The cover of the book is shown above, soo puny but I can't find a bigger pic, so I'll just have to post this one :P

I decided to update my blog a little more, I think it's too dull, blecchh. Anyway, lately I've been Tumblring (I mentioned if you read in my last post) and there are lotsa blogs interested in Korean fashion. I think korean fashion (female :P) gives a girly and cute vibe, lately, everyone's been following the trend. I think I'm quite interested in it too :)

Bunny hairbands! If you observe Korean celebrities (like I do every single day, I totally live like a Korean :P), lotsa korean girls wear hairbands such as this adorbs bunny ear hairband, now most pretty girls wear hairbands with ribbons on them, which I think is cute :) They're bringing back oldschool fashion nowadays. I find myself liking ribbons alot lately!

I love this picture, I like the bright colors ^^ so cute! The Koreans like to go all cute and colorful, I see :P What I envy most about the Koreans are their silky white complexion, it seems unreal but I think most koreans have original pure smooth complexion.

Hey peeps!

I know it's been AGES since I blogged. There is seriously something wrong with Blogger (on my computer that is). It's been driving me crazy, and the frustrating thing is that I've been dying to post comments on my fellow bloggers' posts but my stupid laptop is keeping me from doing that.

But I don't care, I can't go on not blogging. So here's an update post. I've been Tumblring+Instagramming for days just to keep me busy 'cos I can't blog.

There are some really cool pics on Tumblr. I have to admit I am not the kind of person who goes Tumblr, I'm a bit new at it, call me old fashioned but that's the way I am :P
